Hi
I'm a new guy and have a 100% stock DS650. I wan't to get some exhaust but have no idia where to start. From reading, I get the HMF slip ons are good, is this ture???? Is the FMF titanium4 good at all??? Any and all sugestions are great

Hey man if u do a search on this matter u will get alot of results. Mr.horsepower makes an end cap that goes on the end of the muffler on a stock ds pipe. It is dyno proven that this is one of the best choices to go with for the pipe on the DS. The pipe on the DS is a full blown header pipe and the stock end cap is restricting it from performing to its max. The end cap i would say is the best way to go for the biggest horsepower increase. If not the endcap, MR.HP has dyno proven that the HMF pipe would be the next best. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Lance

wow, thanks for all the qucik replies! Hay lance, so your saying that there a tip I could put on my stock exhaust that would make it better than a HMF pipe? Where would I buy this tip?

You need to reread the thead on the dynoing of the end cap and the HMF. They were complety the same. The dyno lines layed right on top of each other.

 

I think RWR exhaust is the best HP increase for a exhaust out there on a DS650, there was dynos done on this board as well with RWR being the tops. You can get them with a quit core and a sparky if you want.

Read on MR.HP'S site and it will say that the HMF will ALMOST perform like the endcap. Lance

 

If the HMF and the end cap produce the same ammount of HP then I think I'll go with the cap just because of the price!
