Highest Total Miles

My father in-law met a guy last month in South Dakota who put 7,000 miles on a Grizzly over two years on his 8000 acre farm. Sopposedly the crank shaft broke at that point and he finally retired the Grizz. He now has a new one which he let my father in-law use for a day while visiting. He said the Grizz must have had 200 lbs of tools and stuff on the racks when he used it. When asked how he liked the Grizz he replied, it steered kind of hard. Gee wonder why..

I can only estimate miles on my 88 Honda 300 because it had no speedometer. But I currently average 1300 to 1500 on my present quad (with a speedometer.) So after owning it for 7 years I believe it had somewhere in excise of 8 to 9000 miles. (Conservatively) I still had complete faith in it as much as the day I bought it when I sold it. In fact I sold it to a friend of mine at work and he still owns it. I still perform all the maintainance on it for him and it is still in pretty good shape.
Your post also got me thinking about TOTAL miles on ATV's. I bought my first Honda 90 three wheeler in 1976. I rode the wheels off that and all the other ones I have had since. Twenty-four years of riding at 1300 to 1500 miles per year would be over 30,000 miles logged. (Another conservative estimate because in my youth I had more time to ride than I do now)
I would be interested in hearing other rider mileages. Anybody else?
