Default Help on Powdercoating color.

Colors

I am thinking about tearing the shee down and having the frame and swingarm powdercoated, but I cant decide what color I want. Check out the link above for all the colors and look at my pics. I am leaning towards silver vain but would like to have a color that would stand out more, but not look stupid with blue fenders and nerfs. What color do you guys think would look the best.

my swingarm is powercoated silver-vein and looks awsome against the blue plastics and nerfs.

my vote goes to silver vein.

I think the pewter wrinkle would look tight. Blue and pewter look good together.

The thing I am worried about though is that it will still look like a stock frame from a distance. I want people to be able to look at it from farther than a foot away and be able to tell something has been done to the frame. Will you really be able to tell with the silver vain. I am really diggin the translucent blue too.

How about the translucent red? The blue is nice, but blue on blue on blue on blue...get my drift. And you know it won't match 100%, so its off by just a little and then doesn't look so hot. I do like the translucent colors though and think the red would look good. I'm sick of silver vein myself.

I think the machine grey with a little flake in it would be trick. And that mirror black is AWESOME looking, but in a more suttle kind of way.

I thought the mirror black looked awesome too, but thought about how crappy it would make my a-arms look to have a nice shiny frame and dull black arms. I think I am going to get something along the lines of silver vain or black or gray speckle, but I looked at the pics of the transulcent red and that does look awesome too. Soo many choices....
