I need help. Since the last run, my P700 is really hard to steer. Could harldy move my steering on hardpack today, wasn't too too bad on the snow but not the same.
Drove it in the snow, slushy trail on the last time, came back rinse it a bit, parked in the garage and forgot to turn the heater on. Yesterday, I needed it and steering was diffferent.
Lifted the front and was really easy to steer.
Put it on flat concrete in the garage and Kinda heard a little (PAC) in the front but couldn't see anything. Asked few peoples on the run today and told me it could be bushing or seal that expand with the water???
Please help...

diff. lock stuck on is my guess. It IS coming out of 4WD, right? The cable is a snap to adjust, you'll need a "fish-scale" or some device to show 7lbs of pulling force on your LS control lever. The adjustment is outlined in the owner's and service manuals.

Tought about it but, it's not the problem cause it's done that on 2X4 and would be hard to steer even the front lift in the air. But when lifted in the air. It's really easy to steer.

If your diff lock was stuck on, it would be easy to steer with the tires off the ground, but normal when sitting, & very difficult when moving... If I had to guess, I'd say you got moisture in your cable, & it froze & never released the last time you pulled the locking lever...

The LS can function ,while the bike is is 2WD, too. Look at the LS control lever down on the LH side of the diff hsng. Does it move when you pull on the LS control lever? It doesn't have to move much. Look for junk jammed in/around that lever. If it is jammed, it'll been jammed with the lever swung upwards. Adjust per ownwer's manual. It OBVIOUSLY isn't alignment, if you get it to steer easy ,when jacked up in the air! Good luck.

Lifted the bike completely off the ground get her going on 2wd and was alright front weren't turning, put it on 4wd, got one to stop turning and haul the lever for front lock and worked great. It was possibly ice/snow/mud stuck and when I cleaned it and warmed it up it all came back to normal.
I'm some glad. A dealer told me it was my front diff and had to replace the front. Told him to hold on before doing anything and it's now working great.

I always freshly lube my cables in the late fall... doing this pushes out all of the left over summer fun ( water / mud ), & helps keep water out of the cables during the winter months, when it can freeze...
