I've decided i want to buy an atv, though i know little about them. We just moved out into the country and have a mx track to ride one on. I've rode dirtbikes b4 a little. I don't even know what size of atv i need to look at. I'm a woman, 5'4 and 130lbs. I'm looking for something used and not too pricey! Please help!!

 

You sound like a good candidate for a Honda 400ex. They have good power, great handling, and are very abundnant in the used market. You should be able to pick one up in good shape for around 3k dollars.

 

yea either a 400ex or a 300ex will do fine

 

well since uve rode dirtbikes and should be able to work a clutch i say get a warrior or 300ex u can find used good warriors for around 2500$

 

if you can use a clutch a warrior would be good. and if you want alittle more speed i would try to find a used 250R they are fast and they would do great at the MX track that you would be riding it at. just a thought. although if you are new to quads the 250R might not be the best choice. but if you are willing to try you could probably be able to control the trx 250R in a few weeks to a monthoif you willing to try it. plus they make a miilion mods for them so you can always upgrade when you need more power. but these are just a few other options: blaster 200, 300ex, 400ex, mojave 250. theses are all sport quads and there are alot more quads if you go with a sporty utility like the wolverine. just some ideas to think about.
