Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of a cv joint breaking and what the circumstances were. I really want to try and run the 29.5 outlaws. Also if anyone has seen a picture of a quad actually running these tire could they post a link please. Doesn't matter if its not a Kawi. Thanks.

 

I did. I was running 26" 589's. I was riding in some very rough swamp. It had these big clumps of some kind of swamp grass growing. You would get hung up if you hit them straight on. You just about roll over when you took them at an angle anyways I exploded a outer CV joint. It was still under warranty. I felt that the 589s put to much stress on the joints. I also didn't like the way they changed the handling of the quad. I replaced them with ATR's and haven't had anymore exploding CV joints
