Default Beat a few Honda's yesterday.

I just want to say that Holeshot tires suck in the sand. Also, I now have as much top end as anyone else I raced. I beat a couple different 450r's today. A YFZ on paddles was about 1 to 2 bikes in front of me. Anyway, I can not launch in the sand worth a crap. I never got the hole shot. I did try a bunch of springs today, but, my launchs didn't improve at all. Anyway, I am still trying to dial in all the changes but, the V does run really hard. This is the first time I had had it out with the new cams and CDI in it. I was messing with my jetting and trying different sping/shim combos all morning.

Hey Zmann

Did you notice any comparable to stock improvement with the WebCams and CDI? I would like to change out to a more aggressive cam with a port job without forking out for the big bore right now. Thanks for the input!

Ken

Sure, it pulls a lot harder with the cams in. Sunday was the first time I got to spend a decent amount of time riding it since the cams and cdi were put on. I am still getting it all dialed in.
