the exhaust fumes on my vforce smells funny. the only thing i have to compare it to is my kids atvs and my brothers outlander. but it smells alot different. if you stand behind it for a minute or two it will make your clothes stink. i really cant explain the smell, its not like unburnt fuel. i think i am still running a little rich, because my plugs are still a little black. but the backfiring out of the tailpipe has stopped. would this be the reason for the smell? should i just ignore it or should i do something? thanks again

OK. How many hours on this quad? Some pipes have some pretty tough paint on them that takes time to cure. Another thing is could be is gas. Some brands of pump gas have really stinky additives in them. Have you tried to change brands, and then sniff your exhaust? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] If all else fails, you can get different smells out the exhaust buy putting an additive in the gas tank. It's sold by Summitt racing. They sell all kinds of smells. I wish they sold a dog crap smell!!!!! Then I would go really fast and let the quads in back of me wondering what is going on!!! lol I know this doesnt help but why would you be smelling your own exhaust?? shouldnt all the raptors and ds's be smellin it?
