Default kfx swingarm bolt broke

I've been into the V Twin motor Kawi's since day one... I've never heard of the swing arm bolt breaking, even on the much heavier Prairie ( the Prairies have the same swing arm ), or was this a 400 KFX ???... how big of a jump was it ???

Default kfx swingarm bolt broke

I was riding with a friend of mine last Sunday, and he felt something poking him in the leg. When he looked down to his suprise he saw the bolt coming out. Don't know how it happened (no big jump to brag about). I have never seen this happen before, but the end of the bolt sheared off and would like to know if anyone else has seen this or knows if the stock bolt is junk or if there is an aftermarket part that may be better. Hopefully this is just a very rare thing.

oh ya, this is the 400kfx
