12t in front and 39 out back??

12t in front and 39 out back??
The ratio comes out to be 3.25. I was just wondering what to change the front or rear sprocket to get a little more acceleration out of this tecate 3 wheeler I just picked up. I just have never seen this set up. 12 front 39 rear. I know how to build motors but cluless on gearing.
