I don't know if it's the same for the V. On my P650 it's just above the clutch cover, tucked up behind the plastic ferring. You'll find 2 square connectons aprox 1/2 inch sq. each ; one black, one gray. With the key in OFF pos. Disconnect and swich them(black connected to grey , grey to black). Turn key ON for about
five seconds then back to Off . Connect them back to normal(blk on blk. grey on grey).
Belt light should be reset. Those connectors have 3 or 4 wires on each of them. You cant miss em.

My buddies V's belt light has come on. His dealer had no clue on how to reset it. Are these instructions good? Do they work on the V? He has tape over the light now. Probably did that with his fasten seat belt light in his truck too.LOL

Its easy. The connectors are under the seat on the V. Check out " ATV power.com". I think thats the site. Its 2 four pin connectors. One black one grey. Just switch them (black to grey and grey to black). Turn ignition on for a few seconds. Be sure to switch them back.
