I raced this weekend in Clewiston,FL.
It was a Florida Trail Riders, hare scramble. It was awesome!
I placed 25th out of 55. At least that is what I heard the # of riders in my class were. It was tough through the trees. I had to yeild many times. In the open areas, I was able to pass. Then,into the trees and yeild again.
Also,next time I will pace myself as I was tired after the first two laps. Okay... after the first lap! It was ***** out for 8 miles and then do it three more times. Everyone was friendly, too. Lot's of families.
There was one area that was open and you could go. Then you went through a couple of little ditches. Then you came to a bigger ditch and you could either go through it to the left,or jump it on the right. I hit that jump wide open in 4th gear,passing everyone that was going through it.It was fun!!
Anyway,thought I would share that.
I will try harder to place better next month.
