How do wolverines do at the dunes. do they need a warn 424 do be any good. do they need paddles. if so what type would you suggest. thanks in advance.

 

I rode mine both at Silver Lake , Michigan, and Little Sahara, Oklahoma, and my stock Wolverine did fine,even with stock tires. To be honest, the only thing a 424 in the sand will do is let you turn faster and whip donuts, but it is real fun, I love my 424 !!! 4wd will let you climb better with the front pulling more, but I have never tried sand in 2wd. With my motor mods and Surtrack tires, it should be a lot of fun now, Surtracks can be turned around for more sand traction, a poor mans paddle track !! You should do fine stock, but a pipe and filter with rejetting will give you the grunt to turn that sand, it will drag on your tires a bit. I jumped dunes just fine, and never got stuck, so I say, go for it.
