All right I am about to pass on some information that I have received from a reliable source.

Rumor #1: There is about to be a new module released that should do about the same thing as the cdi. It will be a 5 wire hook up with one wire being for an on-off switch. it will have a row of lights which will luminate which area of the power band it is working on. I should receive one for testing next week and will report the testing results.

Rumor #2: For 2005 there will be a 750 efi Prairie.

Rumor #3: For 2005 there will be a 500 irs Prairie.

So there you have it. I have received this information from a very reliable source which has never been wrong since I have been acquainted with him.

Man I hope Kawasaki makes a 500 V-Twin Prairie with IRS, and all the great features that the Prairie 650/700 have.

This would make for a perfect second quad. The other half finds the 650 a bit too big for her. I'm thinking that a 500 would be a perfect size for her.

Please Kawasaki make this happen.

 

as for rumor one...do you mean KAWI will be making it? or someone else?

Solid rear axle on the 750 EFI?? I'm wondering if that might be the case, test out the IRS on the 500 and maybe introduce it next year? I may have to upgrade in a year or two. The 500 with IRS would be cool, I wonder if it will have EFI.

I don't know about the sra, that's all he posted. But that may be a smart thing to do. See how the IRS works on a 500, then maybe introduce it on the 750 later on.

I don't really care about EFI myself, so that wouldn't be a big deal if a 500 didn't have it. But it should have a V-Twin and IRS.

Oh yeah congrats on the 2000 post LOL!!!

 

I was talking to a kawi dealer in my area and he never mentioned nothin about the 500 but he did mention the 750 kawi he told me efi and irs........he kinda thinks its gonna be built on the artic cat frame.......this is just hear say so don't get your hopes up guys....
