Default Raptor Jets / Air Filter / Air Box

What would you recommend and why (obviously I'm looking for cheap performance mods):

Jets:
Larger Mikunis (if I can find them)
DynoJet Kit
GYT-R Jet Kit
Other?

Air Filter:
K & N
GYT-R
Other

Air Box Mod:
No Lid
Mod Snorkle
Other

Thanks

go with no lid and get it rejetted. i've heard k&n are good for sand but foam filters are better for all other places. i'm running a wwhite brothers foam filter on mine.

Here's what I ended up doing:

I ordered the gyt-r carb kit, dual stage foam and billet adapter. I also ordered a crank case breather like the one on sixsixt's pictures. The carb kit and foam filter came in yesterday (hopefully, the rest will arrive today). I want to have the mods ready for this weekend. I will post how things went if anyone is interested.

Foo
Yes, i would like to hear how it all went. I am considering adding a new pipe, filter, and jetting my carbs. Keep us updated.

Here is what happened when I installed the parts:

Phase I: Added the GYT-R kit and removed the air box lid only (I wanted to see how big of a difference there was between the stock and GYT-R dual stage foam.) I used the recommended 160 and 165 jets for my setup. I used sixsixT's recommended air screw setting rather than yamaha recommendation (2.75 and 2.25 vs. 3 and 2).

Phase I Result: It became an entirely new machine on the bottom end. I was very excited at first... until i got into the high rpm range and noticed a big loss in power (bummer). So I decided to move on to Phase II.

Phase II: Install billet adapter and GYT-R filter and K&N crank case breather filter.

Phase II Result: INCREDIBLE! This thing rocks! My friends could not believe the difference. It is soooo much faster now! The GYT-R filter cleaned up the top end. Like one of my riding buddies (a fellow 660R owner) said after I let him ride it, "I was creeping in third and hit the gas and it was instantly in the high RPMs."

That's one of the best things about the Raptor...you get big gains out of the simple mod's like pipe/filter/no lid/jetted up.

ok mr. foo i take it you got all you stuff from yamaha or your dealer or whatever but could you clue me in on what a crank case breather is, and where you got it from, i am thinking about doing the same minor upgrades as you and by your results it sounds worth it,
