What Tire is better for trial riding and some motorcross? How do they wear? Which is better for mud? Which for hard pack? are any others that are better tires? Thanks for the info

Ive heard of many people ticked off that Holeshots wear off too fast, and many are converting to Bandits or Razrs. I picked Razrs yet haven't got them yet. They ARE ALL SOLD OUT. -for good reason I bet.
For trails and track Razrs and Bandits are great. Holeshots- well love em for 1 year then order them again.

Now that holeshots come i 6 ply it is hard to choose what is the better tire. But Gumby from our club has the razrs. They look like a solid tire and they are 6 ply so they do not flex as much

I have a set of front razors that I run sometimes when the conditions are sticky or muddy and they have worked excellent. Better than my holeshots.

I run the Holeshot XCs(not the XCTs) on my R. I like them, they DO LEAK, especially the rears. Some XC racers are complaining that the front Holeshots GRAB TOO MUCH(RAZRs have a more rounded profile), but without a comparison I CAN'T TELL YOU. I CAN tell you, however, that when these Holeshots wear out, I WILL BE TRYING A NEW SET OF RAZRs.

Is the added weight of these tires a problem? I will eventually need new tires and I'm concerned the added weight will be noticable.

The added weight of the new tires you mean. If you have a 20 inch tire on now and replace with the same size you shouldnt notice a thing. Especially if you are going from a stock tire. The new ones are just about always better for grip and overall role. If you would go bigger in size or smaller in size you will notice a speed or power change. EX. If you put on 18's the engine will rev through the gears faster but will have more power to turn the wheels, which can also be altered by different gearing but thats another story. Have fun.
