A buddy of mine who rides a 400 EX tried out my DVX today and seemed very impressed. He couldn't believe the low end torque as compared to his Honda. Keep in mind that I've done yosh cams & pipe, done a jet kit and finally got a rev box but didn't have it plugged in when he first rode today. He made a couple of passes and commented on how quick it hit the rev limiter, so I told him to pull it back into the shop. I swapped out the ign box and turned him loose again. He came back shaky handed and stated "that sh*t ain't right!"
After he rode around for a little while he came back and said that my DVX felt like a 750 compared to his EX, he said there was a huge differance. Again, the low end torque really got him. He said he had to clutch the EX a bit to really tote the front end, but found out real quick that on the DVX you had to watch yourself in the first three gears - especially first because the throttle response is so right there the front tires are headed for a sky shot before you can feather the throttle.
That was I guess the first comparison test I've gotten first hand since the mods were done so right now it seems there is one Honda rider who's basically impressed with the Cat![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Great to here. I have read ppls opinions that the z/kfx/dvx400s were quicker machines but never heard something like this. And to make it even better you even get reverse with the DVX
