My brother is ordering the ATV Racing 13"travel, +3/+1 a-arms, CustomAxis front suspension. The way they setup the rear is by adding a CustomAxis rear shock to the stock swingarm (and by removing a rubber-snubber on the link). This gives them about 10" of travel.

Is this good enough? What does he need to get 11 or 12"? Can that be acheived with a different swingarm? He doesn't want to buy a new frame yet. Anyone got a trick setup?

Thanks
Fish

You dont need that much travel.I have PEP shocks with 10 inch travel all around on my 250r.It will handle anything I throw at it jumps, whoops etc smoothly with ease. Its all in the valving not the travel specs.

If you add a longer swing arm you can get more travel out of it but it will not be good for trails or woods.
