The stock sizes are 25x8x12 on the front and 25x10x12 on the back. Would the Sur Trak 25x10x12 fit on the front and the 26x12x12 fit on the rear? I have already bought the 25x10x12 Sur Trak's, but I would like better tires for the front now that I have them. Would I see much power loss with the bigger tires? It would only be 1/2" taller. I'm basically wondering about rubbing on the front, I know the back will clear the 26's. Thanks, Chris

I put Blackwater XT's in 27X9X12 on all four corners of my 98 Big Bear. I also had a SuperTrapp IDS Pipe and K&N Filter w/hotter plug. I lost a very minor amount of power, but the tires were under the fenders and traction was incredible! I initially had a lift kit but removed it cause it made the bike too tippy in off camber situations. Besides the tire never rubbed even without the lift, XT's are 6 ply too and actually about 26" tall.

i have 26" vamps on my 98 big bear 4x4. 26 12 12 on back and 26 9.50 12 on front now prob with rubbing. but i do have a little power loss on it when the mud is really thick then it strains a little or when i try to pull someone else out it wont turn them. but other than that they do fine
