Don't hold it on important places, like around your air box and carb and stuff. It won't hurt it much if you keep it far enough away and keep it moving.

That's the only way I clean mine. Just use common sense and don't get to close to sensitive areas w/ the sprayer.

yea, sometimes when its really muddy, it takes too long with the reg hose and rag, but i am tempted to use my pressuere washer, its just i have seen what it does up close to hard stuff like pavement and such. you are right tho, if u stand far enough away, it wont hurt anything, im gonna try it. thanks for the info on this.

It's the easiest way to get off mud. and Doesn't usually take off too many stickers.

Kuz28's steps to a clean quad:
1.pressure wash (avoid chain, airbox, bearings, cable ends, electrical connections)
2.spray entire machine down with Simple Green
3.completely rinse and wipe machine down with soapy water and Sponge mitten.
4.Blow dry entire quad with leave Blower.
5.Lube chain

Once a month:
clean air filter
grease all zerk fittings
oil change (i ride three times a week)
check all bolts

Yeah, powerwashers are good for big chunks of caked on dirt. But then put it away or turn it down. Too many sensitive areas exist on a quad that can be damaged, including pivots, radiator fins, nooks and crannies. I like the idea of drying with a leaf blower. I'll have to try that one.

if you dont want your stickers flying into oblivion go straight on with them. Dont come onto them at an angle and you'll be fine.
