Default scrambler 400 paddle pressure

So the tech guy at scat trak paddles says 8psi. Is that right? Sounds a little high to me. I run 4 in my atc.

I run as low as 2# in my sandstars and I can't imagine that much pressure except for bead seating

I usually run somewhere around 8 or 9ish. The harder they are, the faster you will go...you may not get as much traction too though( but with my paddles that isn't a problem)

The tire developed a cut by the paddle. Thought it was something in the sand. The tech guy says it was from running to low of pressure and the paddle itself cut the tire. Didn't sound right to me so I thought I'd ask you guys. thanks for the replys. I feel I get a better holeshot with lower pressure. I am no expert on the matter.
