Transmisson popping out in first gear Warrior HELP!

My buddy has a 01 Warrior with very low miles and under a hard load on the dunes going up the hills he hammering up the hill and the Quad kicks out of 1st gear into nuetral can this be fixed or is this normal I have heard other with Warriors with the same problem what is the solution and what usally does it cost to fix or should he sell it and get something else, HELP IN RENO

My son has a warrior and this has happened to him also. I think it is the reverse forward lever. Does it happen mostly after you've taken it out of reverse? You have to make sure your transfer case seats firmly back in forward.

My 04 warrior has the same problem. My warrior slips into neutral when i'm in third gear and going up a big hill. It does not do this all the time but when it's really warm outside.
