I found a 1999 honda 400ex in great condition for a whoppin $1500!!! IS this a good deal? It comes with the bike runs awesome, paddles, flag, helmet, boots, aftermarket exhaust and other little things!!! Is this a deal that i should jump all over or what. also what should i look for when buying this bike. PROS and CONS??? Thanks

 

ide say it sounds alright just check the pipes by the head to see if they are burnt.

 

he!! yes! i'm looking for a 99 400ex or any year for under 2500 and i'm having trouble... the 99 400ex book value at www.kbb.com *kelly blue book* is over 3000.00 *just ride it and hear it run and inspect if before purchasing.

lol nice little comparison there...but yeah thats a good deal. I think the only difference between the newer models and the older ones is just the decals and maybe carbs are a little differnt...there's a 1999 400ex in the local paper for $2800...so yep, go for it and let us know how it goes

 

Sounds like a good deal but if you do get caught whith your pants down just cough as the doctor says and move on.
