Default Dunes and Hunting What Quad?

I am looking to purchase a utility quad that will perform well at the Sand dunes and take me deep into the woods where the big bucks are at. I am leaning toward the Prairie 700, but would like to know, Right now is the P700 the fastest utility quad on the market Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i hear they are the fastest but i have never gone-up aginst another utility with mine. i think for what you are looking for you should get a polaris scrambler 500. they are sporty with 4wd and im pretty sure that you can get racks for them.

from what I here the prarie is a great bike. it wuldn't be my choice in the dunes though.

my uncle got his prarie 650 up to 55 mhp, and it was and still is his 1st atv.and that was only his 2nd time on it.

there was a prarie at sandmountain 1 time and it seem to do pretty good. the guy was pulling whelie's up comp hill (the main racing hill, oproxemetly 1000 feet in length. pure sand, pure adrenaline)

and my uncle is a bow hunter, and he loves that thing. every time someone asks him if he likes it, he tells them he could crawl up a tree on that thing. Ive riddin it a few times and from what I can tell its an ausome bike, and its got a ton of power.

Speaking of Priaire's my buddy has a new 650. It goes into 4x4 on it's own...with a loud clunk. Anyone heard of this? The dealer is stumped.

go with the scrammy 500......they would be fun in the dunes because they are a little bit more sporty then when it comes to hunting and the woods just kick the 4x4 switch and you can get out of some good messes...its a great machine..it is a machine that ranks in everyclass and not just one..I love mine

PrairieRidr, saw a Hunter green Prairie 700 running a black jeep the other day. That wouldn't happen to have been you would it? I believe the Jeep has a 360 running 4.56 gears.
