Hey jnds... This post is old as hell but.. I'm in Safford right now and was looking around to see if there were any riders on here from this area... Just came down for a wedding this weekend but hopefully in the spring I'll bring the 450 down for a week. Is hotwells the only place around here to ride? I'd like to do the poker run but.. Doubtful the scheduling would work out

AZ has almost endless places to ride. Lived here all my life and am still discovering cool rides.

I checked out the Hassayampa river basin west of Phoenix this weekend. Im just getting back into quading and there is a nice diversified terrian out there. hardpacked, river basin sand, and some hills to fly up and down. It was hot as hell though, we bailed after an hour.

Also try the Gila river basin. A little closer to twon. Get off on Jackrabbit and go wouth past highway 85. I was impressed with some of the trails and some areas have some good sand jumps and wide open flats...a nice ride.

HOT, HOT, HOT though, like you said...I can't wait for it to get down into the 90's...LOL

Well, back in Texas for a while. I think next spring we're gonna plan a trip to go out and bring the 450 with me. If I still have it that is..
