Hi everyone! I am recently the proud owner of an 04 Sportman 700 and I have been trying to decide on which luggage box with a rear seat to go with. I would like to get one that allows me to keep the rack rail since I will probably be riding two people from time to time (I know they don't recommend that) and I feel that it would help keep the seat/box in place during more enthusiastic trail rides. Does anyone have one of these with the new 04 Sportsman with the rear rack rail? If so, what model is it and where did you get it? Do you like it? Would you recommend it or another model and why? Thanks for the help and BTW this is a great site!!

Try Kimpex, i know they have lots of different boxes, many dealers sell them.
That's all i know about them though, just heard of that brand.

 

i saw this at my local Polaris dealer. can still fit 2 people to. doesn't require rear rack to be removed.

looks solid. lockable to. easy to install.

The Kimpex Deluxe Trunk will bolt to your rear rack. It locks and you can wire the rear light to your brake light. You can store lots of stuff and it works great as a passenger seat or for a rest stop. ATV Outfitters is one distributor.

Doesn't look too bad. If only I knew it would fit my 700 without removing the rear rack rail....

 

I have the Polaris box that mtpockets posted about. Although it does nt have a seat it is very comfortable to ride 2 people with it. You will need to remove the rack for most of these boxes that I have seen but you might find one that doesn't. The Polaris bok is very sturdy and holds a ton of stuff.
