Anyone every run a 18 tooth fron Sprocket?

I ran an 18 front when I had my 18x11x10 holeshots on.....it did help me but yet i was running 18's.....just becareful cause its awfully close to the case [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

I can tell you 17/40 will work. I was running that at Glamis with 22" Haulers so. . . if you are running a 20 or 21" dirt tire and you are riding on packed surfaces at sea level. I can see you possibly needing the 18 in front.
I ran the 16/39 this weekend at Sand Mt. and it pulled perfectly up the face. There wasn't a 4-stroke near me. Drag Shee's are in a whole different league but, I had fun beating up on a lot of modified Shees. Sure if fun beating those!

i've run 17/38 with 22" paddles taking off in second. i've tried 17/35 too.

i've got a 18 in front and it sucks, i dont dune so i'm gonna order my 16 tommorow.

With living so close to the Bonneville Salt Flats in UT I was always tempted to get a 18 and run it on the flats. truth is though even with a 15/40 combo all out in fifth gear was about as scarry as I want get. I just kept thinking,"If I hit a hole I am toast!!" Couldnt imagine another 10 MPH or so.
