Hi, I have a 03 sportsman 700 with factory rims....I just purchased a set or 26" outlaw tires from highlifter....Problem is, the side of the lugs are scrubing the spring...What do you guys think I should do to fix this...Thought of getting wheel spacers, but thought it might look unusual sticking out about a inch from the hubs...Is there any centercaps that will fit the factory wheels to keep from seeing this? Would I be better getting some new rims with different offset? If so, please let me know what brands will work best...Thanks for any help....Rick

 

I am definitely no wheel expert,but i had a scrammy 4x4 and i wanted to run paddles on the front.And i ran into the same problem ,the paddles were hitting the springs.So i reversed the front rims,plugged off the original valve stem hole and drilled some new ones on the outside.Just a thought.

 

if it will fix the problem, try wheel spacers. it probably wont look THAT weird[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] you could make some center caps if you didnt like the looks...just a thought
