Default axle bearing Part #? Timken?

Heres what i found:

bearings 'Timken' # 32008XM BRG $13.32 EACH
Seals 'International seal and packings' # 50x68x10 A-nbr seal $4.04 each.

If you cant find them locally, you can order form Motion industries INC (in wisconsin where i got mine.) Just give them the part numbers above as they dont know fitment for the DS, they just crossed the numbers from my quads bearings adn seals i brought to them to get to those part numbers.

I think there stock numbers are B 53208 for the bearings, and R02404 for the seals

Can anyone post the DS 650 rear axle bearing part number. I know my local auto stores and bearing shops stock mainly timken. I did a search here on the board, but no #'s were found n them. I dont have my bearings out now. I know they need replacing, as they didnt look to happy when i repacked them 4 months ago..

I dont have time to get to it till thursday, but want to have bearings in hand before taking it apart again. Wasnt thinking to write it down the first time.

Thanks much. Hopefully I get some good riding in saturday?

For the DS, the cone bearing PN# is 293 350 043. The oil seal is 293 250 115. Wear ring is 705 500 191. This should be all you need. If there are ANY other #'s u need pm me or let me know, this is for all bombie.

Thats no good to me. Was looking for bearing manufacturer and there part #.... Bombardier part #'s dont do me any good. I dont like dealing with my Bomb dealer. THEY SUCK! I wont go there unless I have to.

I May get time to pull them tonight. If so, ill just go to wisconsin bearing on my way home tomorrow night and get "non" marked up timkens form a non bomb bearing house..... (Bombardier markup $ sucks) I was just hoping i wouldnt have to take it apart to find out they dont have any / cant get any locally that day.

My bomb delaer doesnt stock $h!t for the DS.....

Dave.

040-32008xm-90km1 for the bearing and race. I'm pretty sure thats a Timken #. I paid 12.28 each, which is cheaper than the stealership.

I will agree with you on the dealerships. I really don't like dealing with them at all

Good info on the bearings, and if you want to get real creative try calling one of the smaller local bearing distributors in your area as you should get an even better price than that charged by motion who is not known for liking small orders.

Also just curious but were the replacement and original seal the same width?

Is this the same info on the bearing carrier / axel everyone is talking about?

I think I am going to go ahead and replace mine. Tried lubing the carrier before last trip but noticed a little play in it at the end of the trip. Probably have damaged the bearings now so better to just fix it before the next trip.
