Default Sportsman suspension adjustment?

I need to stiffen the rear shocks a little on my sp 600. When I have my rear rack loaded, the back squats to much. How many turns to I need to give me more support from my shocks?

You'll have to adjust so it fits your needs. When you adjust them make sure you wash out the aluminum piece that you turn. If it is full of mud and gravel it may break and trust me it is not fun trying to get the spring compressed enough to get it all together. I had to put mine in my press to do it.

just keep tightning it until it doesn't sag. You shouldnt have to tighten it too much

every time i buy a new sp i have the dealer give the rear shocks ONE click. that does the trick! i have a loaded rear bag, i'm a big guy, and sometimes carry a passenger.

ONE click does the trick for me.

Not to preach, but I've seen some "very experienced" riders have some very nasty accidents while carrying passengers. Please, please, unless the machine is designated as a 2-up, it's not worth the risk.

A local guy had to have the base of his skull reconstructed, due to a roll-over while carrying a passenger. That extra weight raises your center of gravity, and both people aren't always on the same page on which direction to lean.

We want to be able to ride with you tomorrow...so be safe today.

my 90 is black/orange and i think they are all that color. (2004 90cc) so i would say yours is a TLE look-a-like as well! ours is stock. safer that way for the little guys. i use the top grade Polaris oil, low smoke. works great. -MT
