I have an 85or 86 klf 185 and I sprayed carb cleaner thru the carb as it was running and an alful noise sounded and it just froze up... now what am i supposed to do? can it be fixed? where do I start....

You must have gotten too much spray in one shot; it may have hydro-locked the engine and bent/broken a piston/crank/rod. Another possibility is that the cylinder walls washed clean of oil and seized the piston. Either way, it needs to be torn down to determine what happened.

I agree with NOVA... but it is very unlikely that you sprayed enough to hydro-lock the cylinder... 2 cycles are extremely sensitive to dry cylinders, & that carb cleaner, was sure dry out your cylinder... sorry to say, but I'm betting you've got a top end rebuild in your future... I just hope that it didn't damage everything bad enough to have to throw everything away... you may also have an over bore in your future...

take the head off and spray some wd 40, lite oil or something to lube it and let it set for a couple hrs. and then try turning and if it won't turn try a block of wood and gently tap the wood on top of piston. keep it lubed.
good luck.
good luck.
