Dynatek CDI, do I need the programmer too??

Default Dynatek CDI, do I need the programmer too??

I was looking at Dynatek's website and notice they sell the programmer as well as the CDI.

Am I looking at the wrong part number? Do You need the programmer too???

ANybody know the story???

Generally speaking, Dyna makes 2 kinds of cdi's...one kind is programmable and the other is non-programmable (has a fixed timing curve built into it). The new Dyna cdi for the P650/P700 is non-programmable so you won't need the programmer thinga-ma-bob.

Do you know what the part number is, or the Price? The only one I saw on their Website was like $250..

That's the one. $249 and shipping. I just got mine today and have not had a chance to fully test it out, but I would say it is money well spent [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].
