Default my raptor axle is a little stiff to turn.

Ok, my raptor's bearings basically went to hell and the axle seized up. So i broke down the axle and bearings. I decided to upgrade and got a lonestar +2 and some allballs bearings. Well I got it all back installed and turned the axle by hand. It wasent really stiff, but it did not turn freely. It took some effort to turn it.

My question. Are bearings usually stiff when they are new ? Did I do something wrong ? If I run it up and down the street will it loosen up the bearings ?

Something doesn't sound right. It should turn pretty easy. Is the big spacer between the bearings?

Try running it up on a stand . Most bearings if there a heavy load bearing are a little stiff. . The grease is set in tight from the factory and hasent cleared out of the rolling path . These are sealed bearing right? or are they a Cone bearing ? If there a cone then youve got to much preload

You should have no break in or higher rolling resistance with new bearings. You probably have the preload too high
on the bearings and are slightly deforming the races.

mine was the same when i did it
make sure your seals are in the right side
sprocket seal has 43mm inside diameter
disc side is 42 mm inside diameter
if they are the wrong way it will cause drag
