Can someone tell me if the cam mod on the yfz 450 is worth it??

 

My cousin just bought a yzf450 2 weeks ago, he said he saw a movie on the web of a stock yzf and a cam mod but otherwise stock yzf, they raced in the desert and the cam mod yzf won by 10 bike lengths in a fairly short distance. He said the cam mod makes the power curve favor the top-end, which is good when you are drag racing, duning, or hillclimbing. It makes the bike difficult to trail ride though. He said he is definitly doing the mod, no parts involved, if he don't like it, he'll change it back.

 

It wont be 10 bike lengths on an otherwise same yfz, but its worth the effort.
