well i put my raptor 350 up against my brothers 2002 warrior with a fmf slip on,k&n air filter,jetted.On top end we were even,i'm talking almost identical with his few mods and mine stock,but rider and quad weight there was about a 80lb difference between them,but i'm pretty sure stock for stock the raptor 350 is about 2-3mph faster than a warrior.

 

ummm how aobut its the same motor same frame same everthing except plastics. dont believe me ask your local yamaha dealer mine told me this.

 

My buddie told me he and his friends raced a warrior againsed a warrior and they were same. Both stock. He said they were side by side the whole way.

 

O and it was a 97 warrior

 

Duke I think your Yamaha dealer might be wrong. It has a more free flowing exhaust and a different cam I think. They are a LITTLE bit faster.

 

The Raptor is also 24lbs lighter[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Look at the specs on the yamaha page and dont believe everything you hear. The motor has a different carb, cam, and whole new exhaust system. The chassis is different too with much better ergonomics and suspension. There is other differences too weight being a biggie. It's a much better bike than the Warrior.

 

Will I beable to put these parts on my bike ?

 

i would also like to knwo if u could put aftermarket warrior parts on the new 350 raptor
