I'm about ready to go into the motor of my Warrior. Not sure what i want to do. What cam do need? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Do they make kits where i can buy everything i need at once? This my be a stupid question but if you dont know you dont know, Thanks in advance

 

My reccomendation would be to get the alba kit, some serious porting, and some bigger valves to match. I would tell you to get a big bore sleeve while your at it, but im still wondering how long it will live being sprayed with just the normal stuff. Watch for metal in your oil, it will take out your oil pump and ruin your motor (ive melted a brand new .450 cam like that). When you start seeing it, you need to scatter the motor and find the culprit. BTW, if you still want to spray, youll need to find out what octane to run. 11:1 is already borderline. A new carb will help too, and eliminate the airbox while your at it. It really helped my top end when I did that. 15 tooth front, stock rear, and in second you couldnt keep the front end down.

FST has a warrior/Wolverine kit that wuill make it a 436 or something. I think it com es with bigger vavles.. Mickey also has heavy dutyclutch springs that i recommend with the kit

 

if your going to go big bore and spray, you should probably look into getting a stronger rod if anyone makes one.

Yeah i am looking for something along the same lines. I need to put in a new oil pump but i have noidea how hard that is to do. Did u do it your self jacka??

 

Get FST's oil cooler kit that he makes to.. Does anyone know if it is a new intercooler
