WOW, I think I saw scooby at LS

There was a yellow DS that couldn't keep the front wheels on the ground so it must have been him. I wanted to ask him a turbo question or 2, but he disapeared!! Very impressive quad.

Yes, his quad looked very fun. I didn't know if he would give me advice or shun me away. I never got the chance to meet him. I am a junkyardturbo mustang guy that is just in love with my TRX. I would have owned a DS last month if the local dealer wasn't so proud of them. I know that my TRX needs an extended swingarm and about 20 more hp for the drags. I guess I will have to wait a while since this quad is so new. BUT, I see SO MANY turbo carbed bikes at the drag strip, I must find out the best way to turbo this trx. If anyone knows of an Oklahoma DS dealer that will budge on the price, please let me know. I think the DS will be perfect for my pops.

Dave (Scooby) is a pretty good guy, I'm sure he would talk with ya. Though I would imagine at a 'race' type event where he (sounds like) creamed all of the competition, he might have somewhat of a line of people waiting to talk to him. Perhaps he should give paid seminars on how to build your own turnbo efi DS from scratch!

SWcooby (Dave) is a quiet guy with fast quad. The guy absoulutly knows how the DS works. IMO scooby should set his DS to run 1/8 mile asphault tracks. That DS REALLY starts moving around the 400 foot mark once he gets traction and the boost spooled up.

He should be killing the competitoin , but where ever he goes you dont hear much of the races he wins..just that i saw him but no vids or nada...JMO..
If i wre that fast i would have a video sec of the killings, in the past 2 years of hearing of scooby i have never seen him run...

I have video of him making some passes, but I dont have a fire wire to host it. The bike makes some power. When he gets a good pass out of it, it will eat some sh$t believe me...

You have to remember that Scooby is still shifting that machine, so He has to loose alot of his boost to shift. When he gets REAL Serious he will put in an over-ride in and then lighten the quad down to 400lbs. Then it wll take a SUB 4second banshee to beat him. If I had to guess Scooby could run consistant mid-low 4's with his current DUNE set-up.
He is not always trying to KILL the competition, and sometimes on pulls out a win by a couple quad lenghts. Their were NO Nitriuos quads thier last weekend so I doubt he had the boost up past 15PSI. I have seen many times what he can do when he really wants to win Its just plain scary how that DS accelerates.
You gotta get him BIG props from driving from NY by himself to find competition. You will notice how NOBODY ever calls him out.
