HELLO,
i'am a new member here from ireland and i have a bit of trouble which atv. i want some sort of reliable sport quad. But don't give me anything with less than 5gears and no clutch(i need the clutch). It would definatley have to be over 250CC and pretty stable. another prob is 2 or 4 stroke which is better obvisoly 2stroke is faster but would i be better with a 4stroke.
Thanks for any help

Welp....two stroke or four stroke...the four stroke is for this day in age..easier to maintain and don't have to worry about oil and fuel mixture like on a two stroke...yes the two strokes are faster on top end but they don't have the low end torque like the 4 strokes as for which quad??...all kinds..give some info on what your looking for....any name brands you like best??? do you ride mostly trail riding..or dunes..or do you ride mx...do you want reverse...things like that...if you answer some of those then I could narrow some quads down for you...but here is a list if you want to do some research on some quads
Yamaha~raptor 660, yfz 450, banshee
Honda ~300ex 400ex, 250R 450R
Polaris~predator
Kawasaki~kfx 400
Suzuki~z400
bombarder~650..
those are some..

I would probably recommend a 4 stroke, for the reliability..
the closest thing to the speed of a 2 stroke you're going to get, is probably the YFZ450, it delivers crazy power at both ends of the bike...without the crazy maintenance
