Default Raptor vs. 400ex.

I knew all you yamaheads would come by the masses. This question is about price. My friend is going to buy a new quad tomarrow and he thinks that the rappy is like 1500 more than the 400. What's the actual difference as far as factory recommended retail price?

Usually you can get a Raptor for $6000 otd. Sometimes the price varies, but that is the usual that I have found. A 400EX is usually priced alittle over $5000. So the difference is not $1500. It probaly wouldn't be anymore then $1000. Unless the 400ex prices have dropped alot.

I wouldn't pay more than 4500 OTD for a 400ex now a days...
