#1
i put an slip on exhuast from HMF...i went to install the jet, got the carb all apart. so im lookin at the jets already in the carb and look at the ones that they sent me and none of the ones on the carb look even close to the size of the new jets....i took the highspeed jet out with the tube and everything but it doesnt fit inside that little tube...is this the jet that im supposed to replace or another one on the carb which i just dont see?!?!?!?!?

The jets are on the bottom of the carb. Should be 4 screws holding the bottom bowl on and when u pull that off u should see the float. Then between the deals on the float there will be two jets a pilot jet which is about 3/4 inches long and then right in the center there should be a little short round stubby one and that is ur main jet. Hope this helps. Lance

Yes the one u are explaning is the pilot jet. It is very well possible that they sent the wrong one because i ordered a new pilot jet from my local atv shop and it was just alittle to big. Are u running the stock carb? What size is the pilot jet they sent u? I would call them and let them know about this and see if they will get u a different one or maybe ur local atv shop will have one. Lance

Sounds like to me that u are trying to put a main jet in the pilot jet spot. Correct me if i am wrong. Did they send u a pilot jet or a main jet? Just asking to make sure. But it is very easy to install jets and i dont think u could mess up, maybe they did send the wrong ones. Lance

Well without the correct jetting u can damage the engine if it is to lean and u can also hurt it if it is very rich, but it is ok to run it if it is just alittle rich but not alot. Never run it if it is lean, it will damage it badly. I sent the picture of the jets. Lance
