Default Blaster twist throttle

I was at the dealer today. and they told me that instead of dealing with all the problems im having with my tors system, I should just buy a twist throttle. Rather than replace the tors (expensive) or buy a idle screw for the carb (60 bucks for that too). So I went for it... 50 bucks for a motion pro twist is worth it i guess. Plus its one less thing to fix. So my question is... do you think this is the best option? Will it fix my idle problems totally?

You will need a ilde screw when removing the TORS system. I don't think one comes with the throttle.

Default Blaster twist throttle

The situation is that I got a twist throttle because they told me that I wouldnt need all that stuff, but when i thought about it.. yeah i most certainly do. So the situation is... we modified my tors system to work by adding onto the screw that holds the lever down so taht it will idle and stay slack. I kind of wanted a twist throttle to begin with tho ( i have little hands and its hard for me to hold on, use the brakes and the throttle easily). I also needed that little inner throttle cable that holds the pin up if i wasnt gonig to use my twist throttle. So... now i have a twist throttle and now idle setup... and a tors system that works (kind of) with no inner throttle cable. bot the idle kit and that little cable are the same price. WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD BE EASEIR IN THE LONG RUN?

If you buy a kit from motion pro sometimes they come with the standard carb top to remove the tors.
It is much better and easier to buy the idle kit and install that. It is very easy. I wouln't suggest trying to modify a broken tors. Once you get the twist throttle the cable that comes with it probably won't work with the tors.
