Default Ballpark HP Numbers?

How much Horsepower do the (for instance Craycraft) 686's make. What about the 727's.

I'm hearing some #'s that scare me and, i'm trying to get them out of my head. If they are what I think they are i wish i'd have saved my $ and, just stayed piped. 5 Hp over the #'s stated by the Pipe shootouts from the top pipe compared to a 686 and, 2k+ is STUPID!

Stock Raptor is 35 supposedly = If the pipe kits in the Dritwheels shootout were making 45 HP+ and, now i find out the a 686 will get you 50 maybe 55. That is a useless waste of big $! A Pipe and, jet kit get you 10hp+ and, a worked 686 (with bigger valves, high comp piston, stage 2 cam, porting) will get you 5 more? UNREAL!

Yeah i'm venting! Calming, Venting, Calming.............. Heating up again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The +10 is likely peak, while the +5 is probably all through the rev range.

Dont believe any of it. Dynojet dynos are only good for tuning. The numbers pretty much mean nothing unless comparing two bikes done on the same machine on the same day.

If your curious my CC 686 on the dyno made just under 60 HP. This was on a Dyno that was made for tuning not HP readouts so the HP numbers are obviously a little off but it gives a good "ballpark" number like you were asking.

My 690 was at 61 hp and my buddies DS was at 68 and the Rap beat it every time. I dont believe in them Dyno numbers either. Just get out there and Race!! Safe that is.

Nobody has answered this for me yet. How much is a craycraft 686 to get done, with all of the other mods needed for it. My friend wants one for his rappy.

My Craycraft 686 was an enormous change, much more than an exhaust, filter, and jets.
