Page 30 in this months DirtWheels magizine has an article for 330ft grass drags at Treasure Island Casino in Red Wing, MN. There were around 10 different classes, with the max of 30 machines per class. Pump gas only..... $35 dollar entery fee.
Is anyone planning on attending this event? Racing in it?
I am interested, but have never drag raced before.

Hey Jason, next time throw on a helmet for the photo shoot. Makes our sport look better.

 

Yeah, I know. I had my wheeler parked at my shop when they did the interview. Then they wanted to take a few pictures. My helmet was in my truck and my wife was driving it that day so I just made some circles in the gravel for them. But, yes I should have had a helmet. After all I am the first person to have recieved the saved by the helmet award in Minnesota after a bad cycle crash where the helmet saved me back in 92. It looks pretty bad.
