If I still lived in KS I woulda been there. I bet Delbert Denayer was there in his sand rail. If anyone has a rail, and wants a sweet *** turbo engine for it, I strongly recommend his services. He's out of Andover, KS.

I was at Snake Hunt..... it was nuts! I don't know the official count but it looked like the most people I had ever seen at LS. The "official" coutn will be wrong anyway because they ran out of arm bands at the south gate on Saturday, most of the crew I was with never had to pay for that entire day.
Camping sucked, the park has decided to start closing the shoulders of the road on the north entry, they had 2700' closed for this Snake Hunt and have promised to have it all closed by next year!
Where are all those campers going to go?
Would you drive hundreds of miles to be told there's no room for you?
Would you come back?
I think the park management is really screwing the pooch on this one.
It's no wonder the State of Oklahoma looses money on the park system, LS was one that made money and they will screw it up also just to match the others!
