Default tether help for 300ex

I am racing in the new Iowa ATV Harescramble series on Sunday...BUT, I have to have a tether cord on my quad. I have been told that I need a normally closed and I have been told I need a normally open. Anyone have one on a 300ex or similar? Or better yet, if you just know the answer, that would be great! Thanks for any input.

eh...its me again ang...anyways...usually if u call up dennis kirk, theyll tell u wut u need...i had a normally open kill switch for my 250, but the 400 is normally closed...so dad and i ordered a normally open kill switch, due to the fact that the normally closed kill switches are back ordered for a month...so whenever the motor is killed w/ the tether cord, it blows a fuse and i have to take off the seat and replace the fuse...it sux, but i dont plan on fallin' off..

Geeze!! I hope you DON'T fall off!! That would kill some time as well as the motor! I know those things are hard to come by! Jason got about the only two available at the time from Pingel. They need the normally closed for the v-twins. But there may be ONE extra normally closed one for me that is ordered and coming in. Probably not before the race, so I'm not sure how that's going to work out. Jim doesn't want to put the normally open on, says it wouldn't be good for it and I need a normally closed. Thanks for all your feedback!! And how'd you know it was me on here?? Unless you looked at my photo page?? Glad you found all my questions anyway!!

Thanks!!
