Has body put a 5 inch Suppertrapp Core in the DS stock exhaust. It should open it up have a spark arrestor and could be quite.

 

I got a 5" supertrapp disks Im running 18 disks, take a look at my pics. is this what your talking about?

That looks like it sam did you just make a end cap or did you replace the core insides all so

 

I used the stock baffel inside, But I had to grind a little off the very end. the inlet sticks out about 3/16 and the 5" disks inside diamiter is a tad smaller than the exhaust inlet so it dosent sit flush on the end, so I just grinded it flush w/ the rest of the exhaust. that plate is only 1/16 thick, a person could get a thicker one so it sticks out flush w/ the exhaust inlet. soon I would like to make a aluminum cap to fit over the exhaust and then put the plates on. only one thing you would need to thred the holes for the disk screws and they would strip real ez.
the disks and cap I got off ebay cheep , but summet racing has them to. its very tunable and love it.

You can get a 5 inch core for about $60.00 and the disk for about $100.00 for 18 disk and it should all most just bolt on with just a little work.

 

Great idea fellas. I have the MpHp end cap and would like incorporate the supertrapp disc with it or make another with the discs. I ride mostly around the farm (no spark arresstor needed) but take trips occationally where one is needed. Do you guys have any more pics of your setups?
