Default 1992 Suzuki 500 Grizzly 4x4??? Please help

Hello all,
As the title reads, My friend bought this Quad off of this old guy who calls it a 92 Suzuki 500 Grizzly. I know that it isn't, but what could it be?
It has no stickers on it.
it's blueish gray with black mud skirts
The seat says Suzuki.
It does say 4x4 on the rear plastics down by the foot pegs.
It has a 4x4 high and low lever down by the left foot peg.
It has a reverse lever sticking out through the gas tank on the right side.
It has a 5 speed shifter lever on the left foot.
Gas gauge built into the tank
speedometer
Mikunui carb
2 swivel head lights mounted on the front bumper
full time 4x4 with an open diff in the front

lol, I know this sounds kinda funny, but I need to start finding parts for this thing. It needs a CDI box and possibly the pickup.
Any links to stores who sell cheap CDI units would be appreciated!

If you have any clue as to what this thing is, that would be really helpfull.

Thanks for your time

It looks exactly like this thing..

If it is just like the picture on e-bay then it is a Suzuki king quad. Find the serial # on the frame and your local dealer should beable to trace that # and tell you for sure. As far as cheap places to buy parts, I would try to talk to some people in your area to see where they buy their parts.

Is there any way I can get the Ohm readings off of someone's manual so I can test the stator/rectifier?

Ok, I've had no luck finding a CDI unit for this thing.

Can anyone tell me where to look on the frame or whatever to find out what this thing is exactly?

I need to know the year and engine size in this thing so I can get a CDI and other parts.

Thanks for all the help.

Mike

TTT

I found a CDI unit and ordered it! It'll be here next week.
Stator/rectifier Ohm'd out per manual specs that I copied from the dealership. Also copied the entire wiring harness page.

Can anyone tell me where to look on the frame to get the ID numbers to tell what cc and year this thing is?

I believe it to be the 1998 Suzuki 500 Quadrunner 4x4 LT

Only vin/frame numbers will tell for sure.

Tell me where to scrape the mud off of to check. lol

Thanks for the help!!

Mike

I think the VIN is on the left hand side on the frame by the footpegs. If not there it should be on the left side by the tire on the frame. It will be on a sticker up front and will be carved into the metal by the footpeg.
