Need more of a thrill

Just got a Suzuki LTZ250 and thought it was underpowered on low end, so they will let me exchange it. Trouble is I really aint sure which is the best bang for the buck for low end performance ,woods trails with very little need for tope end speed. How much more of a thrill will the 300ex be over mine as its really only 282cc over the LTZ250 having 248cc? or even should I go 400ex and spend another $1500? Maybe the warrior 350 would do the job (if its got the low end stuff)

You already chose the z250, why not z400? = way faster and, more power.

Offer them 5200 for a new Raptor.....they will probably take it. Prices on the 660r have dropped because overyone going nuts over YFZ. I got my 2004 LE Raptor for 5200 (5564 OTD). You should be able to at least get a blue or white one for that much. It will give you the trill you need....

If you can ride a manual clutch bike I'd get the most bang for your buck that you can afford. It's not like the 400EX/Z/Raptor have uncontrollable power. If you can swing the price of a better machine then there's no reason to buy a 300EX (unless of course you're a small person or a kid). You'll spend a few months mastering it and then the rest of its lifetime wishing it were faster.
The first manual clutch ATV I ever rode was a 300EX and I thought it had plenty of power. I ended up buying a KFX400 and still wish it had more beans. The important thing is to know and stay within your skill level when you're riding.
