I stumbled across one of these yesterday while out on the quad. Sounds kinda fun to go search for stuff. I don't have a GPS thing though.
The website gives some pretty good directions and I know this area pretty good. I think I could find some others if I try hard enough.

Neat, I had heard of it before but this time I checked out the website and found a few within 10 miles of me. Kinda like an adult easter egg hunt

I have been doing it for a couple of years, makes a great excuse to get out and do some walking around!! There have been a couple of these that are pretty extreme but they have some great prizes that people put up! One person got a check for $1500 for being the first one to find these 2 places take his picture there and post it on the site.
this is the cache I placed last summer

I've done a few and left a few things out in the woods, dunes, etc... It's fun to go on a "Treasure Hunt" when you're out for a ride. The more time you spend looking at the site, you reallize that there are a bunch of people out there doing this, and it has gotten me to some places that I would have never seen before.
