Default Fat man needs clutch help

Hey guys
Most of you will think im pretty lame, but i am in need of some help with my quad. I have a 2002 ds650, and the clutch is slipping horrably. I am a large guy 290, and a have a few mods like trinity racing pipe, Ron Wood carb mount air filter, 2000 over cdi box, rectifier, geared the front down to a 14tooth, and run 15/40 mobil 1. And use 22 in klaws for the dirt and 20in sand geckos for dumont. Other than that its stock. The problem is every gear the clutch is slipping so bad, i have to get off the gas and hit it again only to go a little faster. What do you people recomend me to do. Stiffer springs? I will be so thankful with any help

Use either the RW's springs with an extra steel or the Pami springs, both with new stock fibers and steels.

I would say try the stiffer springs. I dont know how bad your clutch plates are but it might make u feel better if u went with new clutch plates and springs. There are a couple of places that u can get different springs from. Check out these! Lance

I recomend pami or TVI springs with barnet 9 disc. Lightly sand steel plates in a criculor motion w/ 500 grit. Then wipe the plates off w/ slightly damp paper towel just to clean off sand paper residue. Valvoline NON synthetic 20/50 motorcycle oil holds up good and is cheap enough to be able to change it every other ride.
